Westfield Museum came with a request to for a site to support only a fundraising appeal for the museum, with a URL westfieldmuseum.org. We suggested that the website could be an online museum rather than only a fundraising, and they agreed, even though it meant providing a lot of new content for us. The new site has exhibits about whipmaking and artifacts housed in the museum, as well as forms for visiting, donating and volunteering.

It serves as a basic framework that outlines the arrangement of elements like headers, footers, navigation menus, content areas, buttons, and other key components without focusing on design details such as colors, text, or images. Wireframes help designers, developers, and stakeholders plan the user experience (UX) and ensure a clear, functional website structure before moving on to more detailed design and development stages.
User stories and flows are tools used in development to define and map out user interactions with a system. A user story is a brief, simple description of a feature or functionality from the perspective of an end user, typically following the format: “As a [user], I want to [do something] so that I can [achieve a goal].” This helps prioritize development based on user needs. A user flow is a visual representation of the steps a user takes to complete a task or goal within an application or website. It outlines the sequence of interactions and decisions a user makes, ensuring a smooth and intuitive experience by mapping out the logical progression of actions. Together, user stories and flows guide the design and development process, ensuring the product meets user expectations and delivers a seamless experience.
